The Coffey County Chamber has been actively developing a comprehensive, multi-year plan focusing on three core goals:

What is it?

Created in 2024, the Chamber is a voluntary organization of businesses and citizens who are investing their time, money and efforts in community development.

What is its purpose?

To sponsor and encourage any activity that will lead toward the creation of more dollars for more people and to improve the overall economic welfare of Coffey County. To be a place for community ideas, activities and information. To put community ideas into action and to be of the most service to the most people.

Who can join?

Any business, home based business, or retired business owner who is willing to make a financial investment in the community.

What are the benefits?

Numerous services are available to members. However, the real benefits come directly and indirectly through the continuous development of our community and the promotion of tourism. An active, well-supported Chamber provides increased income not only for merchants, farmers, ranchers and professionals but also more job opportunities for our community.

How can I find out if an area business or organization is a member of the Chamber?

Many of our members display a plaque or window cling with the Chamber membership logo. We also maintain an online member directory..

If my company is a member, does that mean I am a member too?
Yes! When a company becomes a Chamber member, all individuals employed at that company's address are considered Chamber members and receive privileges of membership.

How are Chamber programs and services financed?
All of our revenue is derived from annual membership dues, special events, sponsorships and management agreements. We’re a membership-based not-for-profit 501(c)(6) organization.

How to post community events on the website?

Visit the “Community Events Page” on this website. At the bottom of the page, fill out the form and provide details about your event then submit it for approval. We will review the details to ensure it meets our community guidelines. After approval, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and your event will appear on the community calendar.
